Congratulations! While I wasn’t able to attend everything it is good to know that you were pleased with the outcome. I really enjoyed Lenny Williams. Everyone I’ve talked to had great things to say about the concert.

I was delighted to be able to speak at your event on Friday and to see you again. You and the African American Community in general have a significant opportunity in the San Diego area if it is aggressively pursued now.

George McDaniel ( Keynote Luncheon Speaker)

I’d like to personally thank all of you who supported and/or attended the events of the 13th Annual San Diego Black Business Weekend.  My thanks is not so much for me personally, though I am grateful.  It is more so, on behalf of the general community.  Many of you truly showed that we are conscious, aware, and concerned about not only the present state of Black business; but also the future of our communities.

I believe in Black, PERIOD.  Our Children, Our Ancestors, Our Brilliance, Our Thunder.  I know that we, as a people, have issues that need to be resolved.  Some are internal and some are external but whatever the case, they need to be resolved and the only way that can occur is to come together, lay it on the table and chop it up.

Prosperity addresses most, if not all, of the ills that afflict our communities !

Our success is in our hands, regardless of the situations we may find ourselves in WE STILL HOLD THE SOLUTIONS.  We must humble ourselves to the future, so that we can move up and on.  It is what it is, BUT … WE can make it do what it do !

And to all of you who attended the events, and All of the presenters and entertainers…

THANK YOU !!!
